Honoring a Local Hero: Byrd’s Eye Roofing Joins Habitat for Heroes

At Byrd’s Eye Roofing, we believe in using our skills to make a difference—and we recently had the honor of doing just that through the “Habitat for Heroes” program.

This heartwarming initiative provides free roofing services to veterans in need, helping ensure they have a safe, secure place to call home. Thanks to the incredible leadership and generosity of Mission Metals Manufacturing, who donated the roofing materials and spearheaded the program, Byrd’s Eye Roofing was proud to provide the installation at no cost to the veteran.

This project, located in Dixie County, FL, was made possible with the help of several caring community partners, including the Dixie County Board of Commissioners, who assisted with permit expenses to ensure everything moved smoothly.

We were proud to donate our time, labor, and expertise to give back to someone who’s given so much for our country. It's just one small way that Byrd’s Eye Roofing and our partners can support the brave men and women who serve.
